Dave has been an integral part of the development of the Cheam Chargers Basketball Club and the youth players therein. His in-depth knowledge of basketball and more crucially his knowledge of how to develop players has been a major contribution to the success at the club. His players have benefited greatly from his advanced coaching abilities and exceptional motivational skills. He is a dedicated coach and transfers his love of the game to all those around him.

Basketball Parties
Thanks to Dave, my 13 year old son had the best birthday party. He and his friends absolutely love basketball and thanks to Dave he was actually able to have a basketball themed party. Dave not only helped organise the venue (which is not so easy to find!) but he also engaged the kids for two full hours with really fun basketball games and matches. There were 15 teenage boys and they were all participating and having fun the whole time. My son loved every minute of it and can't wait to do it again next year!

School Basketball Clubs
Coach Dave has run basketball clubs here since 2017. The children and parents absolutely love it! It's been a great addition to student life at St. Mary's. Without doubt, my favourite mornings are Monday and Friday when Coach Dave is enthusiastically working with our children of all levels of ability. Coach Dave's positive, high-energy approach builds the children's confidence and excites them to play and, just as importantly, fosters teamwork and a love of sport. Basketball is far and away our most popular club; I could not recommend Coach Dave more highly.
